WHO WE ARE

This network stemmed from a group of early career scholars and professionals, connected virtually across the globe, inspired to become future leaders in urban resilience. This network serves as a hub for individuals to connect and work together toward creating resilient cities, specifically integrating more holistic approaches into green infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Learn about the people and collaborators that support this network.

This network was born from Get Ready, Get SETS: GI! An early career symposium hosted during the second half of 2020 focused on bringing a social, ecological, and technological systems (SETS) perspective to green infrastructure (GI). The symposium was made possible through the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Urban Resilience to Extremes Sustainability Research Network (UREx SRN). The UREx SRN consists of over 200 interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners across 9 cities throughout the United States and Latin America focused on creating practical policy and technical guidance for urban resilience in the face of changing climate norms.
